An eleven-frame sequence tracking a waterspout a few miles off Galveston during Tropical Storm Grace.
Five Minutes Offshore
Sighted a few miles offshore from Pirates Beach, the waterspout moved northeast at approximately 20 miles per hour.
It formed as the low-pressure center of Tropical Storm Grace passed the area. These photographs were taken in sequence over roughly five minutes.
