Hurricane Ivan Photographs
High tide flooded part of Bucaneer
Tee head of the Flagship Hotel pier. Normally there is about 10 feet from the pier to the water. These waves were washing the bottom of this walkway.
Surfers far out past the Flagship pier. The waves appear to be about 10-12 feet.
Looking west from the Flagship pier.
These drainage tubes were the old ones from Claudette. They were in this condition before Ivan's high tides.
The holes have all been filled in by sand.
The dune-sock workers seem to have piled some of their sand on the dune-socks.
This is the street to the west of us.
High water mark on the Reel's house.
